It's happening all over the site. There must be some rep reward for giving ratings. At least it's better than the old BBC606 problem of some Arsenal nomark coming on and 1 starring everything on our board.
Why the **** have a rating system anyways, since nobody normally uses it? Saying that, whoever is rating things, clearly doesn't like this thread, it's 2 stars now.
I have raised the point that we now have star ratings, the like/dislike buttons, and the rep facility all to do the same thing which is overkill. If you think the star rating xmas tree effect on the thread list is bad though you should see our screens. We've got extra icons in that area to show various mod actions have been used/need to be used on threads or posts in them so it's even worse.
