Thinking of the people who have left since the start of the 10/11 season, I'm struggling to think of anyone who I would actually want back in the team.

Carroll = speaks for itself, may be too early to say but looks like he really was a flash in the pan. Also having him in the team just encourages long balls.

Nolan = hero for what he did to Sunderland, but I think that 2 goals in the second half of last season shows that he just doesn't have the legs any more

Barton = I prefer him as a player to Obertan, but I'm really enjoying the old fashioned Newcastle style wingers that we play with now, makes for much more exciting football. Also takes some of the negative publicity away from the club.

Enrique = Okay, yeah, I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Routlege = Shame we released him, another old fashioned winger but Obertan and Marveaux are streets ahead IMO.

    Sol Campbell = <doh>

Shefki Kuqi = Shame we didn't get to see the trademark celebration

Jose and Barton. Carroll wouldn't fit our style of play, and besides, who needs him when we've got Ba? Nolan is just too slow and offers very little. Kuqi is a hero and I'd have him back in a coaching role. Possibly Sol back in a coaching role too, wouldn't mind. Not to play though, obviously.

Enrique probably. Still a cracking left back and would have added to our on-form defence.

I wouldn't take Barton back. It seems to me now that he had a poor dressingroom influence and made some players feel uncomfortable. Now he's gone, we're all flourishing, and he seems to already be causing mischief at QPR and unsettling other players.

I'd have him as a player, rather than a person.
