I think i would cash in on beggs while the money is there he must be worth a good 10 mill if not more. the reason is tommy is a more experienced keeper and has a good tree or more years left he could help to train our next keeper and if tp looks around for some more potential in a up and coming youngster it could work plus the money from beggs we could strengthen the squad more i know we have europe around the corner it's just a thought what do you all think ? ps i would not like to loose any of them thats just for the record
Both great Keepers but i would hold on to Begovic who has had a amazing season and pulled off some wonder saves i remember two paticular games .Brum at home and the match at 2-2 each and he produced save after save.Then WBA at home and at 1-1 again pulled off a string of saves he is very confident and assured and consistant.To find someone of his calibre would be difficult.He very rarely has a bad game WHU aside. I think Tommy has also played well apart from the start of the season he had a few wobbles but Begovic has provided good competition .The amount of games to be played this season we will need these two class keepers but if i had to choose it would be Begovic to stay as he is the future.
It depends on who came in for them. If Chelsea were willing to do a deal that involved Sturridge coming to us then that's something I'd hope we'd be interested in. If Chelsea don't come in or are unwilling to the said deal then i'd rather Sorro left than Begovic.
If we have too lose one then it would be Tommy, fantastic keeper for us but Beg's is young and will no doubt improve. I like the idea of Sturridge if Chelsea would do a straight swop why not. sturridge would suit us as backup for wingers and, he can play behind the front two. I very much doubt it will happen though.
Back to a serious note I don't think we should let either go, i reckon if we keep begovic as No.1 and then give Tommy Europe and both domestic cups he may stay for another year. Then i think we should cash in on Begovic and get another young keeper and bring him up under Tommy's guidence.
WHY SELL BEGOVIC??????????? We have the cash to keep hold of our better players? If chelsea did come in with a bid of £25-30 mill, then thats worth thinking about, if not KEEP HIM HERE.
Personally, I'm completely torn between them both. I mean they are both class keepers, Soronsen has been a brilliant, brilliant keeper for us, very consistent and also with a superb penalty record! Who knows what Tone will do.
