Who would you get to replace Rooney if he left?

Newcastle fan here.

Just wondering who you'd want if Rooney decided to leave.

 

I'd want Rooney to replace Rooney, because Rooney isn't leaving. I'd settle for Ronaldo though, although his return wouldn't be dependent on Rooney leaving, but my guess is Ronaldo would rather play WITH Rooney than without.

I could see us picking up someone like Lewandowski to fight for the other starting spot with Hernandez.

 

i'm always a fan of lewandowski, before we got RVP, i had a feeling RVP might go for city and i wanted us to sign lewandowski but since RVP picked us over City ( thankfully ) i didn't want lewandowski because we had enough strikers and i still don't want us to go for him now because we got enough strikers and im happy with the strikers i got, i wouldn't swap any of our striker's with anyone.

BUT IF thats a big IF Rooney does leave then we should go for lewandowski.

but like i always been saying, Rooney will be at Man Utd for a very long time and we're glad Rooney won't be leaving us.

You cant afford Ronnie or Modric despite the Sun's storey making as for Lewandowski he's going to West London

 

Anderson, Bebe and probably Scholes - I reckon his knee injury and the time taken to recover will convince him to retire again. That would allow three players to come in and still leave a space for Jones to be an over 21 next season.

Wasn't aware the Sun had started making houses.

And Lewandowski to Fulham, eh? Well, at least he'd be joining a London team on the way up
