As we are beginning to get more players by the day, just wondered who everyone wouldnt mind selling if they were Hughes? For me id be happily let go Bothroyd, Young, SWP, Connolly,Dyerand probably DJ.
All of the above plus theres a slight chance Mackie may go to Blackburn as compensation for Hoilett. I dont think its even debatable that DL and Young are going as they were left behind on the trip while a couple of kids took their place.
What Connelly is still doing here is beyond me,the guy was a liability in the Championship.He doesn't have the concentration levels to be a top Centre-Back,he was behind Gorkks,Hall and Hill 2 seasons ago and hasn't played for us sice then!
Campbell, Barton, Hulse, Ephraim, Bothroyd, Dyer, Connolly Some of those I've had a real soft spot for over the years but they just aren't up to this level and deserve more than the odd cup appearance when they could be playing week in week out for a Championship side or, in Barton's case, Pentonville.
Barton, Smith, Hulse, Dyer, Bothroyd, Campbell and Connolly. Personally I'd keep Luke Young although it looks like he's on his way.
Barton (ideally to somewhere without phone coverage or internet so he can't tweet or be heard from again), Ephraim, Connolly and Bothroyd for me. I'd give Campbell the opportunity to avoid injury and prove he can recreate his Blackpool days form. Unlikely I know...but we wouldn't say no to 15 goals or so next year.
Dyer not going, else why re-sign him, if he is fit will be a good utility player. Don't understand why people want to keep SWP, he had plenty of chances to shine and didn't even manage a glimmer.
Agree that I'd like to see him given a chance, especially as he's a Ranger. But as he was left out of the tour, I think the writing's on the wall, especially as Bothroyd went.
Bothroyd, Barton, DJ, Connolly, Ephraim, Hulse, Smith, Dyer and maybe even Derry not sure he will cut it this season but has been one of Warnocks best signing. Would be nice to see us selling a couple players this year rather than just letting them run down there contracts.
We need some more defenders before we get rid of Connolly. Also i can see Betty staying for cover unless we get in another striker. Other than that I think the ones who will leave are Young, Smith, DJ and probably Hogan, Hulse and possibly Barton will go out on loan.
I would keep Barton but loan him out until the fight starts in Jan and make him realise he is a team/squad player.... he shouldn't have been captain of any team! Out now? Hogan, DJ, Hulse, Smith, Connolly on the basis that the squad is strengthened by the players coming in
Fernandez and Bhatia, It's far to easy being a hoop at the moment. Bring back Briatore and Ecclestone, I miss having something to complain about!
