With the rumours that are going around at the moment... such as players going to the board and the three stooges drawing up shortlists for Marsch's replacement it looks like the manager is on his last stand. IF we lose against Cardiff and Brentford and we sack Marsch who do we replace him with?

I've read reports that we are waiting for Lampard to leave Everton.

Gerrard is obviously in the frame if we can nab him before he takes the Poland job.

Might need to move fast on this one <ok>

Well we’re already in the shyt by this time and no transfer window, and maybe only 15 games left to save the season. But wouldn’t even look at Dyche and Eddie Howe is sorted so I would try and convince Pochetino to do it on an interim basis as he’s out of work. I accept Poch or Tuchel wouldn’t want the job full time so would be trying to tap up Jorge Sampiola …. Now this guy is El Loco but a great coach and has followed Bielsa as Argentina Manager and Chile manager, he has a career average win ration of 50% which includes some dire results at the start of his career. He usually averages around the high 50% 60% marks and recently at Marseille another former Bielsa club he had a 54% win ratio before walking out another Bielsa trait. This is the guy that Bielsa said is the best coach in the world because he is able to completely change the way the team plays in less than a minute because of his training ground drills. From the Bielsa school of football but an independent minded coach who bases tactics on Bielsaball but his version without the concessions.

Is that the guy who is in charge of Sevilla and currently sits 2nd bottom of La Liga with only 3 wins all season?

    Sounds good to me.

I don't think we've got a cat in hell's chance of getting Poch or Tuchel. It's a pipe dream, As for Sampaoli he's at Sevilla. Could we convince him to join relegation battle when he actually has a job

The board has confidence in the manager statement.... even an ardent Marsch supporter like myself knows that the time is soon. If we don't this week and I don't think we will. He has to go.

Everything is pointing towards the 49ers taking full control, the recent signings are obviously down to them or should I say their cash.

Our ability to attract a certain kind of coach will almost definitely be down to what kind of summer budget they’re going to be given.

Dyche I’d have been fine with if Radz was staying for a considerable amount of time. We’ve obviously got a boost in funding, without knowing how much the 49ers are going to throw at I think it’s impossible to rule anyone in or out

Good old Emu sees a chink and dives in feet first. JS has only just taken over because they were in trouble and has a 41% win ratio whereas your poster boy is struggling to hit 30% after a year. At least this guy is a success everywhere he goes for the last 15 years

Sampaoli sounds like he’d be the perfect fit. He’d be my choice. Plays with width and we’ve loads of young, top quality wingers already at the club. He’d play Tyler Adams as the sole DM in the Phillips role with Roca as backup.

No need to overhaul the squad as the players here already fit his system. Just continue gradually recruiting upgrades where needed, as we’re currently doing.

Appears to be the man for the job imo.
