Which players would be your 1st team choice (so far 4th August) and give reasons My selection would be ----------------Bettinelli ----Odoi---Kalas---Stearman---Sessengon --------Madl----McDonald -----Aluko-----Cairney-----Ayite ----------------Smith reason behind picking my line up Keeper is one of the areas I think we need a top class player still. Bettinelli just gets my vote, but he has to improve ten fold at kicking and commanding his back 4. The back 4 still worry me height wise for corners and free kicks. I've not seen Malone to assess him. and Sessengon seems to have a good football instinct and a natural. I'd put Madl DM as he can drop back into a back 3 releasing the full backs when needed. Leaving McDonald to be the creative DM and Cairney the creative AM with Aluko and Ayites speed upfront or out wide, hopefully both of them can put in a shift to defend when needed. At present I prefer Smith to Woodrow (unless Cauley has more upper body strength now), as the out ball if we need to pump it long with midfield backing him up. He can also put him self about worrying their center backs in the air and we can feed of the knock downs. Last season Woodrow was just bouncing off central defenders and he needs the ball played to feet. He's more suited to the McCormack role than a lone striker.
