Last night's game has left me thoroughly depressed. I have had some evil thoughts like going shopping with the Mrs on Saturday rather than watch a complete load of tripe again.

I have supported my beloved Gas for 40 years at Eastville, Twerton and now at the Memorial stadium and i have never missed a home game willingly. I don't ever recall our club as rotten as it is at this moment. We have a board of directors that made mistakes last year in not giving Trollope the funds to compete in league 1 and trying to survive on a shoestring budget. I believe they knew they had made the mistake and when appointing Buckle gave him the funds to get exactly who he wanted. They now have a massive problem as this arrogant little man (who by the way employed a number 2 who is smaller than himself to big himself up) who is obviously out of his depth. This pretender is full of his own self importance and has already alienated fans that have stuck with club through the good times and the bad. How dare he say we must lower our expectations..

I believe our board love the club like i do but are now in a terrible position as what to do next. We need stability and another change of manger can't be good, but if they do nothing we will start to loose fans through the turnstiles.

I have paid over a £1000 per year for the last two seasons as part of the 1883 club and have had to tolerate a relegation season for my money. I decided to pay as i go this year and i am so glad i have made that decision. I wonder how many more are making the same decision i have and are keeping the money in their pocket.

I have taken my medicine and have calmed down now, so i have told the Mrs to **** her shopping because i'm going to watch my first love BRFC on Saturday.

Well said Mango. I've been supporting the club since the late 50's and although there have been depressing
times I have never been as angry as I am now.
I find Buckle reprehensible. He is articulate and credible but his attitude and arrogance I cannot accept.
I don't know which is worse. Either he doesn't think before he opens his mouth, or he does.
He has, I believe, no coaching qualifications, and that is beginning to show. I do wonder what North does
or knows. Pre-match warm-ups look shambolic and lacking focus.
I think we need to cut our losses and get rid now. I don't blame the board for appointing him; he had us all fooled.
As a manager he has won 6 of his last 26 games, comparable (though admittedly with a different distribution)
to Millen. I think he is incapable of turning the fans around, and that is not fair on the players, who bear the brunt
    of our dissatisfaction.

    Cheers pirate.

I wonder if not talking to the press last night was his doing or the board has told him to shut up!!!!

I was impressed by Gill's interview. Did you catch the bit where he says that using the excuse that
they're all new is wearing thin and can't be used any more?

I agree, all of his excuses are wearing thin. What he needs to do is own up to his **** tactical knowledge and get his qualifications whilst on the job.
