Just asking an obvious question, if we lose today the 'Boo Boys' will be out in force to get him out and the 'SOD Groupees' will be rallying to the cause, pounding the bible of football purity and saving SOD's soul.. There is no doubt that having not won a league match since time immemorial he is heading for rough waters but we are known as playing the most beautiful losing football in the 3rd tier, so he and we might survive. So back to the question who will win the argument, the 'SOD Groupees' or the 'Boo Boys'..? Of course I hope we win an am strictly a fence sitter..
Budge up Wize.......I am on the fence with you now. I am slowly getting more and more baffled, confused and unsure with SOD.
Lose today and it won't be pretty. The atmosphere has become worse with every game we've played. Telling you, some in the Williams are gunning for him. Has he got the balls/wherewithall to 'FIGHT' ? Can't see it - the bloke's on Easy Street and doesn't care a flying f***.
What a perverse thread. You are all groupies! You are writing endless threads about blokes kicking a ball. Those getting vexed about it have a think about it. Do some supporting. That is what fans do and some REALLY have FUN doing it.
Hope this fence has concrete posts, as I am on there as well. Although for 2+ weeks I have shut off from looking at SOD's side of the fence due to some of the utter drivel leaking from his gob and started to daydream at the possibilities on the other side. Seriously thinking we should take the money from Albert and Davies, and give it to MK for Karl in my daydream.
The title is ? I entered the stadium yesterday with my family and our intention was to support the team, and have an enjoyable day which I did. Started with the kids team in the morning and there was no discord amongst the City fans, at the Community trust kids thing there was no discord amongst the City fans, in the Eastend fans were clearly onside, the stand was covered in flags left to right at the rear, a clear effort had been made except a handful. By and large the team was applauded off the pitch. Are these supportive fans all groupies? In the Eastend there were a handful who hurled insults at the players and manager from almost the first minute, celebrated City's equaliser, sung some songs then when they did not get "their" winner returned to insulting the players who clearly where playing for the coach and team. What is your opinion on that type of support? Is the former rather the the latter not more beneficial? It is hardly suprising those involved in Forza EE/When the Moon Shines take exception to their imagery being copied by a site's mods which place's no emphasis on communal and proactive elements of fandom. Fans who support the team are not total bores and groupees [sic].
I love it when the ' Little Ernies' or the ' WTMS' boys come on sniping about us mods and our forum, keep it up boys, we love it......
Would the bloke who passed away loved it? Seriously casting aspersions on others, sniping and sneering is hardly a respectful memory in his honour.
Going to Port Vale on a BS4 coach. What is the point of going all that distance to boo? How does calling fans groupees improve support of the team? Surely this site wants fans to support them?
It's not about "groupees" but what is best for the club in the long term. Ok so if we sack SoD (which will cost us money) and get in a new manager - who will want to work with the financial restrictions placed on him?? Also he will probably want his own back room staff - more money to get rid of the current people. Then he will want new players, while we are left with existing people who no-one will want on the wage bill until their contracts run out. Let's stick to the plan to fix our club and see it through to the end - yes, it's hard but something we have to do. PS - the players are trying to do what SoD asks - he still has their respect
Come on Mr Wize Comedy trousers ... It looks as if your contents spent. As your so refined, spare the time, explain your truth. What was the sketch behind that opening post? Everybody goes happily to bed.
