You could make a case for all 4: West Ham - mega wages on the pitch - 3rd placed team has gone up in recent seasons Birmingham - solid outfit - experienced players - good manager Blackpool - form team - done it before Cardiff - can beat anyone - have been to Wembley this year What do you guys think? I'm going for Birmingham
As I said on a previous thread West Ham with a decent manager should do well next year. Brum without Europe will be force. Championship going to get harder next year with Wolves and probably Blackburn and Bolton to drop. Charlton and prob both Sheffield clubs coming up. It's just getting harder and harder all the time. So would like either West Ham or Brum to go up to at least make it a bit easier. Weird really as West Ham and Brum are the only 2 not to take maximum points of us!!
Playoffs are a lottery at best and sometimes produce major upsets. Based on those comments I think the team with the least pressure will be Blackpool and could go back up top. I understand your concerns that this division will not get any easier redordead which is even more reason for our leaders to finally get it right and build a team that will compete from the start.
Hate to say it, but I fear Cardiff will actually do it this time. They've had enough goes at it: by the law of Chaos Theory they must happen sometime
