I know Cesar is on his way back and is only a doubt for the game against Wigan. But will Harry stick or twist? Mostly asking cause I'm considering putting one of them in my Fantasy team, we're about to go on a run you know
Well, I think Cesar has more chance of playing than Phil Parkes. Much rather Cesar over Green, than again, much rather Parkes over Cesar!
Has to be Cesar if fit, Green has been at fault for the 1st goals in both games hes played. We cant with with that kind of handicap.
Run we are already on one ... unbeaten in two and we have two very good keepers ... go on pinch yourself lads ... Hail Saint Mark
I'd rather Parkes over any other 'keeper over the last 40 years (probably except for Seaman when he was at his prime)
If Cesar is still injured - play Murphy. Green is not interested, we can't allow the other team to score from 25 yards with their first shot of the game.
Green must be double jointed the way shots seem to go through both his hands and bend the fingers back.
I do, however, think that Green's kicking / distribution is better than Cesar's Cesar never seems to get much distance either
if you were talking about a midfielder i'd agree with you but i'd prefer my goalkeepers to be good at preventing goals.
Fair point inked, but I just don't believe that Green is as bad as many on here make out. At least one great stop in the Sunderland game, and although he was (in my view) at least partly at fault for the Villa goal last weekend, I would certainly take Green over a number of the keepers that we've had in recent years
In order: 1. Phil Parkes 2. David Seaman 3. Peter Springett 4. Jan Stejskal 5. Paddy Kenny I have seen nothing yet from either of our current overpaid stars to think about amending this list.
