Assuming we sign two more players (at least), who will make the final 25? By my reckoning, 21 certainties from what we currently have are:

    Paddy Kenny
    Brian Murphy
    Radek Cerny

    Danny Gabbidon
    Clint Hill
    Bradley Orr
    Fitz Hall
    Luke Young
    Armand Traore

    Shaun Derry
    Alejandro Faurlin
    Joey Barton
    Tommy Smith
    Adel Taarabt
    Akos Buzsaky
    Keiron Dyer
    Hogan Ephraim

    DJ Campbell
    Jay Bothroyd
    Heider Helguson
    Patrick Agyemang

Hewitt, Doughty, Andrade and Harriman can all register as they are under 21.

With two more coming in, that leaves just 2 (potentially less) of the following:

    Matt Connolly
    Danny ****tu
    Petter Vaagan Moen
    Rob Hulse
    Jamie Mackie
    Bruno Perone

Seeing as Perone has only just signed, I can't see him being left out. And even an unfit Mackie will surely be registered? So does that mean no registration for Connolly, ****tu, Moen and Hulse?

If Ferdinand comes in that means curtains for one of Orr, Hill or Hall.

I suspect that there will been another striker. That means Ken (Dave) (Patrick) Agyemang will be left out.

Hulse off to Celtic, HH off to Twatford, Hill off to Leeds & Dave off basically anywhere (Bristol C??).

Cheers Northolt, decided to stop lurking and give my two cents on QPR!

I think a centre back and a winger are Warnocks priorities so Agyemang may just have to be kept... Helguson can still do a job too in my opinion. If a winger does come in, I can see maybe Hogan being edged out. Hill fully deserves a place in the squad in my opinion.

Great first post, Pond! For me, big Pat should swap for Mackie, and I think one of Akos and Hogan will also miss out for one of the new signings.

Also, ****tu will be in - he only just extended his contract!

Unless another striker comes in, surely Agyemang has to stay on? Think you may be right with Hogan though, if a winger comes in he may well miss out on the 25. I understand what you say about ****tu but who would you drop for him?

Doubt Agyemang will make it despite having started two of our three.

Mackie will be registered and I agree with you over Perone although I hope to be wrong. Surely Connolly would get the nod there as he can play across the back line.

Neil was quoted earlier this summer saying that PVM will play lots of games for us over the next two years, just to throw that into the mix.

It's a good question and one Im glad I dont have to answer.

He doesn't like being called Ken. Relates back to a bad experience he had when he was a nipper in the mother land.

Forgot the old registration rules! With all the names being linked with QPR we'd need a separate pull-out section on the team page!

Sadly it is goodbye to many old faves including Big Dan, Rowly, Cookie etc. Could even be a couple of shock moves with the likes of Ramage, Hogan, Buz (surely not?), Hulse, Aggie and even HH on their way out. What is the rule on loanees? Can they be on our books but loaned out for a season? I could see that happening with quite a few players if we sign any more before tomorrow's deadline.

How long before Mackie is match fit? If it isn't going to be for another few months would Warnock hold back from registering him as a squad player with a view to loan him out in order to get match fit before next season?

Looking forward to Thursday when all this nonsense stops and we can concentrate on our relegation struggle with Arsenal and Spurs!

I really, really hope Hall isn't part of it. He's not a bad player when 100% fit but he seems to break down every 3 games which isn't what we need and totally lacks the level of fight and desire we need. Agyemang I can just about accept as someone who might be useful if we need a goal in the last five minutes but really is so, so far off being good enough it's untrue.

Glad I don't have to make that decision. We'll just have to put our trust in NW

    Most likely it'll comprise of 3 GK's, 8 Def's, 9 Mid's, 5 Fwd's.

Bar Both/DJ, we look a bit light in the forward department. Suppose HH will get a spot, but I really can't see Pat getting one, unless we fail to sign another striker.

    1. Kenny
    2. Cerny
    3. Murphy

    4. Young
    5. Orr
    6. Hill
    7. Traore
    8. Gabbidon
    9. Connolly
    10. Hall
    11. Ferdinand(?)

    12. Derry
    13. Faurlin
    14. Barton
    15. Dyer
    16. Taarabt
    17. Smith
    18. Buzz
    19. Ephraim(?)
    20. Mackie (?)

    21. DJ
    22. Bothroyd
    23. HH
    24. Pat (?)
    25. Random signing(?)

Doesn't look too bad I suppose.

The contract offer was under the old owners when NW had no cash to spend, so I reckon big Dan will be shown the door via a loan somewhere in CCC where he can still do a job (don't think he's PL class any more)

    what about SWP?

I can see Hall leaving full time and maybe Hogan going out on loan. I can also possibly see NW pulling something out of the bag...maybe Nicky Maynard come in and a couple of to Bristol..

Sad to say but the end of the line for Cooky and Rowly
