Reading. They still basically have the same squad and don't need to sell. They still have a great Championship side. They'll probably only lose Adam Le Fondre and/or Hal Robson-Kanu.
Hate to say it, but would put Reading Wigan and the trees as favourites. QPR will probably challenge with or without Harry. To me, it leaves 2 places up for grabs. Probably still way too early to judge mind, depends who stays and comes in to clubs. Am hoping Walshy can pull a couple of good ones in.
Reading, because, like Candy Man said, they have a squad that is good enough to win this league, and likely only lose one or two players.
Got a feeling Derby might go up this season. I third what Candy Man says, Reading will probably win it with the standard names there or thereabouts (Forest, Leicester, Wigan, QPR)
I think QPR will either smash the league or be a complete car crash Wigan are in a very good position but lack a goalscorer Reading I would make favourites as they know this league and have a very good championship squad Of the teams who didnt go up I think we are in the best position Watford have lost their whole squad and there is alot of question marks over them now Brighton hit the self destruct button with poo gate and Poyet suspension and him getting sacked seems inevitable. Bolton had a very good 2nd half of last season so should be a bigger threat this season. Unless we can palm Beckford off on them and ruin their chances But the Championship is an impossible division to predict
Yep. They also signed 'quality' players (saying that i'd have the two I can think of, Sako and Doumbia).
Agree with those saying Reading but providing they can keep most of last of last seasons squad I think Wigan will be strongest. Bolton seem to be making the most noise of last years Championship teams and I see them doing well.
It is hard to say till all the player movement is done, but i do fancy Charlton as dark horses! think i will have a e/w bet on them.
Did you predict Palace would be near the top 6 last season, never mind go up? I think that Russell will be a hit and I'm a big fan of the likes of Hughes, Ward, Hendrick. Add another winger and centre-half and I think they could make a push.
I didn't think that Brighton would, but Palace were the best team to play us at home this season and that was within the first month or so. Derby lack a midfield, defence and goalkeeper. They will go on their usual 15 game opening sequence (similar to what Blackpool will do) but then give up. I do agree though, Russell will be a very good player at this level. Gutted we didn't push for him.
Reading have all the composite parts of a team poised to challenge for promotion. Wolves never had a proven manager.
It's alright Craig, people were suggesting those who predicted Hull City to get Promoted to see a Doctor too. Palace were the same.
