Who do you think will go up with us?

It's now going to be Preston or MK Dons for automatic - plus one of them, Swindon, Sheff U or Chesterfield in the play-offs?

What I want to happen won't... Would love Chesterfield to come up with Preston. Mainly because if MK Dons go up I think they'll get Grigg back and I'm hoping we can take him for next season. I don't want Sheffield United to come up as I'm hoping we're looking at their winger Murphy and Swindon can **** off and just stay down! but having said all that it will be Preston and MK Dons, both are in red hot form and the team in form usually wins the play offs.

Preston to finish 2nd and MK Dons to win the play offs against Sheffield United.

PNE and MK Dons for me too.

Surprised that no-one has mentioned that Swindle made 7 changes in their 3-0 hammering at PNE on Saturday. Karl Robinson is rightly not happy about it and nor would I be.

Does anyone think the League will impose sanctions on Swindle for fielding a weakened team?

I think they should- It surely is being disrespectful to MK or anyone else who might have been in a promotion or relegation situation and is not really it the spirit of the game.
We only had 5 subs on Saturday but that was down to lack of fit players and not tactical. Big difference.

Sorry guys, but Cooper is preparing for the playoffs. MK may be annoyed, but thats tough - his job is to get Swindon promoted - not to appease MK by chasing a lost cause - they would have needed to overturn Preston by about 10 goals which is unrealistic! Of course if they have broken any rules they will be rightly punished, but I don't think that they have and I would have done the same thing in his position.
I'm not just saying this because of where I live - I genuinely believe that was simply shrewd management and his team will be both mentally and physically prepared for the playoffs..

I think its interesting that so far NOBODY had predicted MK to go up auto, with Preston in the playoffs - and I agree - I think whichever of those teams fails to get the auto place will be too disheartened to win the playoffs, which is why I went for MK and Swindon.

It will also be interesting to see what the Swindlers do tomorrow when they play Colchester away.

If they field a weakened team again and lose, then the likes of Orient, Crawley, Notts County, Coventry etc would all have genuine reasons to gripe about it.

I agree why should he worry about other teams? If they have broken any rules then they should be punished but if they haven't then fair play to them, why risk injury and suspensions in nothing games? Of course it could all back fire as normally teams with momemtum do well in the play offs and Swindle wont have any. And I went for MK Dons to get promoted automatically with Sheff Utd in the play offs due to their cup pedigree over the last couple of seasons.

'MK may be annoyed, but thats tough'

    R&W - Please add
Orient, Crawley, Notts County, Coventry etc

You've lived in Swindon to long.
If there's any moral justice left in this world then STFC will lose in the P/Os.

League rules require all teams to play their strongest side in all league games!

I think Sheffield United are too big for league 1 so would like to see them go up, Preston for 2nd and a code one between a Sheffield United and MK Dons playoff final

I've gone for MKD to go up auto, as I believe Colchester will be playing for their life's and could snatch something. Yeovil I don't think will be able to stop MKD this weekend. I've gone for PNE in the play offs.

Moral justice doesn't come into it. It's business pure and simple.
It's not any more 'wrong' simply because Swindon did it.
The most important thing for any football manager is to take his team as high as possible.
A'fair play' award isn't worth as much as a promotion.
All those teams you mentioned - plus ourselves - would do the same in their position. Besides, they shouldn't be in a position whereby they rely on other teams' results to go their way - harsh I know, but true.

Oh and I don't have these views because I live in Swindon. I just recognise the logic behind what Cooper is doing.

Preston are pretty much certain now, I wouldn't rule out Chesterfield, how many times have we seen it before a team goes on a late run to make the play offs then win them over teams that finish 10-20 points ahead of them.

It's by no means certain that Preston will win at Colchester - I still think MKD have a chance of automatic

Since Christmas I've had a feeling that Sheff U will go up via the play-offs

'I just recognise the logic behind what Cooper is doing' - We both do.

I also recognise the morality and unfairness involved.
