I have a feeling that it will be Blackpool and Birmingham, does anyone else think differently?

This will no doubt of course have a bearing on both our clubs next season ,as either or both seek to challenge for a play off position for promotion back to the Premiership!

    Seriously, what are your thoughts?

    No WUM's please especially St.Godders!

Yes, Blackpool, so we can sing to their manager come our next match. I think you know the song I have in mind. ;)

You Know, it's the one where we suggest that their belief in being Premiership standard is not entirely a serious matter. ;)

I think it will be Birmingham and Blackpool dropping down but as they say, football is a funny game! Could Blackpool possibly win at Old Trafford? Of course not......

Because of where I live I really want to see Wigan and Blackburn relegated as at the moment Burnley is the only game league game I can get to next season (without taking time off work). Also Wigan I think would lose more top players if they lose their Prem status so making them less of a threat in the promotion scrap next term.

    What an interesting question Singingblue3.

I don't think it is a question that will ever vex you again as I can't see Pompey ever making it back for another short stay in the Premier league again. So no need to worry your pretty little head about such things anymore.

These are the questions you should be trying to resolve:-

Will Pompey survive their relegation battle next season?
How well will they cope in League one?
Will they have a new owner by then?
Will they ever fill Fratton Park again?
Will they ever have enough players to form a team by then?
Will they have kept their manager by then?
Will they have kept to the terms of the CVA by then?
Will they have to install acro props to keep Fratton Park upright by then?
Will they have a proper training ground by then?
Will they be able to attract promising youngsters to the club by then?
How far below Brighton, Reading and Southampton will they be by then?
How will you cope with the hurt, the pain and the anger of being way below Saints by then?
How will they cope with being regularly stuffed by Bournemouth, Plymouth, Torquay, Yeovil, Swindon and Gillingham to be become the South's most lowly club?

I think you have plenty to ponder yourself Singingblue3 before you worry about the Premiership relegation battle this season.

Questions like that should be left to the fans of top clubs like Reading, Brighton and Southampton who very soon will be playing Premier league football.

I think it will be Wigan and Blackpool. Gotta go with the sides in possession. Would like to see Blackpool stay up though. Defo want Wigan to go down because I don't like their manager or the fact that they have been put at an artificial level by a millionaire. Blackburn would be nice as well I suppose. Their owners are idiots and no team that cannot sell out its stadium belongs in the top flight.

I reckon it will be Birmingham and Blackpool that fall through the lucrative trap door. Birmingham will go straight back up IMO, whereas Blackpool will be mid table.

I hope Wigan go down but I can see them getting something from today. In my opinion they kind of hang around the premierleague like a bad smell, they don't really offer anything. Players use them as a kind of stepping stone club in order to achieve bigger and better things.

Not long to go now and we shall know! Team selections could be key in the Spurs and Man Utd matches. St .Godders try and answer the question, I know you find it difficult to answer a direct and sensible question , but you could at least try! <laugh>

And another thing did I add no WUM's please on my thread!? <laugh>

So Man Utd field what amounts to a reserve side, will Blackpool do a West Ham of a few seasons ago and win 1-0 at Old Trafford on the last game of the season and ensure survival?
