With it being the middle of the week and my fingers itching to begin a thread for the upcoming match selection due to my inability to just wait and see here is my idea which I hope Fletcher will copy:

    Larrieu

    Nelson King Gibson Williams

    Walton Hourihane

    Daley Soukouna Atkinson

    Feeney

I could not bring myself to put Soukouna all the way upfront but I feel with his constant presence near the box - perhaps - just maybe - we could get something.

Only one up at home hobo..........Feeney will be isolated, and it will nearly be like playing with ten men.

From what I´ve heard over the last few games:

    Larrieu

    Soukouna Soukouna Soukouna Soukouna

    Soukouna

    Soukouna Soukouna Soukouna

    Soukouna Soukouna

Seriously though pretty much as you have it there Hobo as Fletch is suspended I suppose we have to play Walton. Would go 2 upfront either Daley or Soukouna or even Lecointe, maybe a run of a few games or a goal will help him. I know he is young but really don´t see what other options we have as I cannot see Hitchcock extending his contract. I still think Berry might be worth a punt up front too.

I know Plymborn but I didn't want to remove Soukouna out of midfield if there was no Fletcher. Particularly if Walton has one of his funny games...

If only we were able to clone players mexijan, I reckon with that team we would do well. As is I think Hitchcock is a dead issue, he isn't happy here and unless he can start scoring he will not be here later. LeCointe is a good prospect but he reminds me of Mason, not enough physical strength to fight off defenders.

Who will he pick? You mean there is a choice for him. This is the problem isn't it, he has little or no choice just like Reid had. More interesting will be what happens post take-over if they can actually get the thing done. Who on earth does Fletcher know to bring in players. If we have to go the whole season with this current squad without any additions then I fear for us badly. Reid had contacts coming out his ears and was I believe a popular enough person within football. Fletcher knows nobody as far as I know and there also could be the solidarity thing with other Managers who do not like what Ridsdale has done to their mate. Anyone else think we could suffer a backlash.

Yep LeCointe is still developing but game time will give that ability to hold off players it´s not only strength but savey too. Just think we have nothing too lose really by playing him just have to be careful he doesn´t suffer ont he confidence front because from what I saw for a 16 year old he certainly didn´t lack self belief. I know we don´t get to see training but still cannot get why we don´t give Berry a go alongside Feeney he has pace, strength and started as a forward so should have the movement plus with his crossing skills he has a long way to go before he is a wide player.
Would like to see them have a go though think we have been trying to hard not to get beaten rather than going out to win. Rather see a 2-6 loss than another clean sheet for the opposition. There is a lot of youngsters and pace in the team and think maybe if the were to have a go out and get about them rather than a don´t let them score attitude we might do better.

I don't think we will suffer a "backlash" but I do agree there will be a severe lack of contacts. Whatever was the fiddler thinking?
