Prediction League Who will clinch 5th spot - 'Pool or United?

It looks like those Murdoch hacks are right! Those old enemies are still battling it out - over that all-important 5th spot in the league.

In the late 70s and 80s, United and 'Pool were more used to battling it out for the title, but those days are long gone. Far from being "the best match in the calendar," 'Pool v United has become something of a bore-fest, although as far as second-tier Prem footy goes, it's doesn't make for hopeless viewing.

Which of these two former giants of the game do you lads see as clinching that elusive 5th spot, and which of them will have to settle for 6th, again?

 

Well if it's a two horse race between them, mate then I'd say Spurs.

Do you really think Liverpool can finish as high as 6th?

 

Sure. Klopp is a massive improvement on the clowns who preceded him. It's just that the media have got it all wrong. Klopp doesn't have what it takes to turn 'Pool in to top 4 material, but he does have the skills to get them competing for 5th and 6th each season. That, for 'Pool, is a massive step up, and Mousers ought to be grateful for that.

At the moment Utd will get that last spot unless we can turn this around quickly.
