I thought we'd have a little bit of fun with this one. Firstly, let's rule out those who definitely will not be taking the job. Mourhino: no way will he go back! He's got unfinished business in Spain which rules him out taking over next season. And, in any event, he tried and failed last time to appease the mad Russian oligarch, and I rather suspect that he's not stupid enough to embarrass himself by going back only to get sacked for a second time. Pep Guardiola: has already told the Russian to shove his job. Harry Rednkapp: ditto. Fergie: OK, so no one is mentioning him, but I thought I'd throw his name into the hat so that we could all laugh when it is ripped back out. Jochim Low: even he laughed when it was suggested he might get offered the job, and moved quickly to tell the Russian where to shove it. So, those are the names that have been definitely ruled out of the running. The names appearing in the poll are a mixture of those who have ruled themselves in and those who ought to be considered seriously by Chelsea, on the basis that beggars can no longer be choosers, and the mad Russian is growing short on people stupid and desperate enough to take on the worst job in football.
You do know that this thread is meant as a bit of fun, don't you, NSS? Go on! Smile! You know you want to...
I am smiling, and I still don't give a toss! Whoever it is won't last more than five minutes, anyway.
Who cares,it will take a miracle worker to restore them to their former glory. I'm scared that Mourinho might go back or they might get lucky and get Guardiola.
I've already posted that I'll give him a year. Tell you what though if Harry leaves I wouldn't mind him at Spurs.
