    The recent thumping we rightly received at old Trafford got me thinking how utterly talentless some of our players are
    So the time is right to ask

    Who was the worst player you ever saw play for our beloved Arsenal ?

    NO Gus Ceaser comments (Because he was so bad he has become a legend )

    My choice is a guy some may remember called Carter (Jimmy I think) truly bad

    To think we paid good money to watch the likes of Blockley and Mancini and these youngsters have the cheek to moan about today's players <whistle>

    I know things look bad to our young fans but the Arsenal of today is a much better all round package than when I started watching (1972)

    And the famous "atmosphere" people talk about from that era was mostly Fear

    I started going to Highbury in 1958 and enjoyed watching thru the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and up to 2006 but some of the dross i have seen since then has been unbearable at times viz;

    Eboue
    Denilson
    Almunia
    to name but 3

    Hoping the new recruits will show more committment.

    Eboue played super in getting us to 2006 champions league final, and when used correctly did a decent job, always dodgy granted at times. Glenn Helder I recall being pretty muck for a Dutchman..

    If Gus Caesar comments aren't allowed then how about his oppo, Chris Whyte ?
    Oleg Luzhny never ceased to surprise me how talentless he proved himself to be.

    And this:

    ''I know things look bad to our young fans but the Arsenal of today is a much better all round package than when I started watching (1972)''

    Is spot on
