As far as I could see the only players who even bothered at the weekend were; Adel - but got frustrated and tailed off towards the end Nelsen - the fact that we sang "he plays on his own" is testament to how the first half went Mackie - came on and chased every lost cause Hoilett scored but I don't think he knew what was going on and Derry had little impact in the time he was on the pitch. Cisse, Granero, Faurlin, Diakite, Bootswinger, Traore, Ferdinand, Cesar, Fabio and THE MANAGER - none of them looked bothered. Actually to say they didn't look bothered isn't quite true, they all looked as if losing to one of the most piss poor teams in the Premiership didn't matter a jot. Is this because they know that what ever happens they still pick up a fat wage packet every week? Do they think that even if we get relegated they will still be paid out a fortune week after week or will be sold off cheap to prevent a Leeds or Portsmouth situation? I don't think we have anyone in the team, or enough in the team at least, that can put up a spirited effort. You can group hug before as many matches as you like but if certain players think that they don't need to put a shift in then it is pointless. If we get rid of Hughes and appoint a new guvnor I feel sorry for him because we have a team of lazy b'stards who think they are above a bit of hard work. "You're only here for the money" "Your'e getting sacked in the morning" - chants from our own fans!!! The opposition's team talk is already sorted out when this is the feeling we have towards our own club. It's nearly Christmas so maybe Santa is going to give us a miracle but I won't be leaving a mince pie out any time soon.
Abit harsh to tag saints "one of the most piss poor teams in the prem" ..saints have been playing well , lead at Man City for ages and pushed the hard , 2-1 up against man utd in 89 mins and end up losing . have completely outplayed spurs for large proportions as well as wigan etc but have been unlucky with decisions and good performances stumped by moments of madness in defence . not need to say "I dont care" as I know you dont , I just wanted to stick up for my club
Feel free to stick up for your club, something that I have found hard to do for the last year or so. If you wanted to retort by saying Rangers were pony I'd agree with you also. Still doesn't stop me thinking that if things were as they should be we'd be sitting above the likes of you, Norwich, Reading, Villa, Wigan, Swansea, Stoke, West Ham, Fulham, Sunderland and be nudging the Europa League places. The money our club has spent should have guaranteed us a top 10 finish rather than a relegation certainty. The fact that we are without a win, without any effort, without a clue etc after so many games shows the difference between expectation and reality.
I agree , the money that you have spent you should expect to be higher up the league , what do you think is going wrong ? . I obviously dont have the first clue about much QPR but from the outside and being at the game , it seems that you have to many "names" that dont seem to be gelling and are not looking like a team . The prospect for saints Long term is very good we are a club that is in a good financial situation and the key factor is that now due to this we are for the first time in a position to be able to keep top players emerging from our academy . Players like Bale , Walcott etc were sold for money but we are now keeping the next geneoration as we dont need to sell them and have some good players in Lallana , Schneiderlin , luke shaw (17 year old LB that played against you sat ) and with this we are carefully adding class like Gaston Ramirez , Clyne etc . We need to strenghen in Jan and im sure we will but the situation is the same for both of us , the table doesnt lie and yes we definately have some class players on our team sheets but its points on the board that matter nothing else . Noticed that SWP was on the bench for you , is he another one not performing ? ..My brother is a man city season ticket holder and a few years ago I was there with him watching SWP for city (strangly with your favourite man hughes as manager) and he always looked a big threat for city .. Have nothing against QPR and so if we manage to climb up to the safety/mid table positions then I hope you stay up , there are 3 other teams that i would prefer to go down !
