Or did it just move unbelievably in the air?

Anyone get a better view than I did?

Incidentally, what has Chris Eagles done to himself. I reckon with his look today, he will be gracing the stage tonight in a gay dance troup!!!!

Just seen it on Sky mussy (that'll make you mad) it didnt catch it too clearly saw someone jump but it seemed to sail by them. Whether it was dip and swerve i dunno. 35 yard near as dammit too.

Right behind the goal and deflected off Chesters head, he was devestated, looked like Amos would have had it covered but, it was travelling at some speed...

No, I was right in line with the goal and he was nowhere near where the ball was going.

Spot on. A perfect description. No fault attaches to either Amos or Chester. Occasionally **** happens.

It was a fine strike I think it would have been in the back of the net deflection or not and totally against the run of play I think that was the best start I have seen all season... :emoticon-0100-smile

It was a poor free kick tp give away.We are conceding too many in our own half putting ourselves under pressure.

There was a lot given away in the 2nd half, but I think many were due to the ref being picky.

I hate it when, not only do the refs make a wrong decision, but they decide to be overly expressive with their bodies afterward when dealing with complaints.

The ref yesterday was a particular example. Grimace on face, legs straight and arms having a life of their own. I don't think he spoke, he just made physical and facial expression of his opinion. Basically, he looked angry and waved a lot at the players, to assert his authority.

Like a mime artist. But a mime artist that was getting right on my tits.

WHO CARES ? A GOAL IS A GOAL. Plus it WON Mrs T. £69 as she had Eagles for first goal and a Hull City win. <party>

Its more than paid for her Leeds and Leicester match tickets.

Davies & Co were looking for the free kicks in and around our box all day! Davies was the main culprit, once he knew he couldn't get anything out of Faye he threw an elbow in frustration. They couldn't get past us in free play if they played another 90!

Did you see the Saturday Night Fever impression he did when he made Bolton retake a freekick in the second half?

My neighbour was gutted. He got odds of 225:1 for Chester to score the first goal and City to win 3:1.

At the time I thought it was Ricketts and he was offside. On TV it was clearly Chester.
Great game although it was my first home game there was literally no one sitting in W1 block at all! Last season it was full.
