After my Which Leeds player? thread i would like to test the water on the confidence stakes on our board. Personally i believe we will just about survive with the availability of our returning players and Hooper`s contribution with goals, Ruddy is still playing well and the other teams in our dead pool are just as bad as us .
Actually Ruddy is not playing consistently well, if he was, I think he´d have kept out Bellamy´s feeble effort on Saturday, but nonetheless as I said yesterday, yes I think we´ll stay up.
My vote is that of no confidence. I think the loss to Cardiff, and in the manner it was achieved, has just about drained any last remaining drop of faith in the team.
The team has achieved a few clean sheets this season something our rivals rarely seem to do, but that is obviously not all about Ruddy but he plays his part.
Can´t disagree with that, but in my opinion, Ruddy has still not rediscovered his form or his confidence, from before his long lay-off last year. Oh, and incidentally, shouldn´t that be surviving for a 4th season?
It would make a fantastic NCFC board back-drop at the moment. There is plenty of space for you all.... please log in to view this image
Surely that depends on which way you look at it RBF. We could have survived our 3rd season or we could be looking to survive to fight a 4th season Just in one of those moods this morning
I'm with Thai, that Cardiff result ripped the last vestiges of optimism from me, Uptil then I still thought we would stay up, just. A draw and I think I may of continued to think that but, if we can't win games when we are on top/the better side then I think we're doomed!!! Apart from the Stoke game, I think all of our best performanes have ended in defeat, it makes it bloomin hard to believe! There is to me so little to give confidence the otherway. (Beat city and I'll change my vote, I just can't see that happening) Bah!
You´re quite right Resurgam Naturally, in principle, they´re both right, just depends which way your mind works, at least I understood him even if it didn´t quite ring true when I read it.
I think you may have been a bit pedantic there! And I'm on a diet at the mo, so Mr Frylight if you please! Bah!
