Swansea play some nice football, but i think our strikeforce may be too much for them. Looking forward to the game.
If your travelling lads being the umbrellas. It's been lashing down all day, safe journey to you all.
We really need to get the 3 points tommorow, and make sure we keep a 6 point gap at the top, because when the champions league restarts City are going to have a big advantage on us. It's not going to be easy though, as Swansea are surprisingly a pretty strong side this season. I really felt they would go down this season after losing Rodgers but if anything they've become stronger under Laudrop. They are very well organised defensively and they have quality in attacking areas with De Guzman and Michu, who will no doubt cause us problems tommorow. Hopefully well get the points, but I'm more than a little worried that we won't. I keep thinking back to how poor we were in that away game against Norwich
Don't worry about Citeh lads, as an outsider looking at it you're a much better team than them this season and I fully expect you to win the league.
I just hope its a full strength team, none of this giggs and scholes playing malarkey. Swansea at home are formidable again this season and if we don't turn up, or turn up thinking it'll be easy, Swansea can punish us for it. Watching Swansea outplay and school Arsenal on how the passing game should be played was one of the most entertaining PL matches last year.
A win tomorrow would be a very good result in the grand scheme of things. Good side Swansea with, seemingly, a very good manager.
Don't worry lads, if you don't get anything out of the game tomorrow, we'll be sure to take all the points when we play citeh at home again anyway
Dunno about that tbh - we've always handled the two relatively well in recent years. Over the past decade or so our success in the CL has never hindered us in the league, and when we've dropped out of Europe early we've often gone a bit off the rails at home. I think playing against the top teams on a regular basis keeps us sharper and less likely to drop points due to overconfidence.
My oldest who is 19, has supported MANU since knee high to a grasshopper, it's taken me 5 seasons of watching the Swans, to convert him over to the Jack Army, and he won't get much sleep tonight, knowing he will be watching his two favorite teams!............... Towards the end of last season when you went about 10 points ahead of Citeh, he was bouncing, but I told him that it's not over and Citeh will win it, just you watch! Man was he dissapointed when they took the title! Your looking stronger this season, but Citeh have not clicked, so you'll need to give yourself a good cushion, but not tomorrow..............
this. We need a strong side and to be on top of our game. Otherwise we'll be chasing the game and we might end up like the gunners at home...
