    “Therefore, I do not see any reason to repeat it.

    “That leaves with me two options: to wait for an offer from a big club or accept one of the offers I have received from clubs outside Europe.”

    Laudrup has recently said (yesterday or the day before), that his managing career is coming to a close, and he doesn't want to repeat himself. Swansea and the other clubs in mention are smaller clubs, compared to Spurs, Valencia, Sporting Lissabon, HSV.

    Ofcourse Swansea is a small club.

    But that's not the issue for Laudrup: it's about the experience! I honestly believe he's got enough $$$ to not be a bounty hunter.
    There are other motivations than money! Personally I wouldn't want to work in the Emirates. But Laudrup ended his playing career in Japan and he's been a manager in Russia, well why not. It's not a career move, it's the experience - I believe that.

    Lekhwiya SC is an adventure for Laudrup.

    Well done Huw Jenkins, sacking Laudrup was clearly the only way forward, I bet there are some right pearlers to be found if the truth be told, at least he cannot complain about the rain out there in training, but then what training?............. <laugh>

    Lekhwiya SC is a huge club from a financial perspective and they're champions, which only 2 of Laudrups former clubs have achieved...
