i would personally go for someone like Yakubu or a proven championship striker like David Nugent. Don't think that i'm crazy because these strikers have been proven to score goals, and good one's at that. And anyway, they can't be as bad as Torres, can they? Lukaku by his own admission isn't ready for Chelsea 1st team, he is unable to go out on loan this season because of the "2 clubs" rule, but next season, he will be out for a full season-long loan, mark my words. You are an embarassment not to include Mata in that team, call yourself knowledgeable!

It's now more difficult to know who to sign, because the only guy who knew which players would be going, is himself gone. All things being equal, it's a safe bet to think Malouda, Ferriera, Bosinghwa, Benayouen, Drogba, and Mikel are very likely. Meireles, Lampard,Cole and Torres on the next rung, subject to decent offers. Kalou , Cech are maybe on their last year,and JT might be watching from the stands depending on his trial. That's 10 possibles and 2 unlikelys'. I'm sure others have different line ups, but it's a lot of players. Not that different from this year,is still the need for creative midfield players, another CB, wide left and right wingers and at least one if not 2 strikers. No mean feat to achieve. Maybe some of the young ones on loan would have been brought in, let's hope AVB spoke to Robby about this.
