Assuming the relegated sides this season come from among the following :-
Blackburn, Bolton, QPR, Wigan & Wolves
I think its a fair assumption to assume that their best players will want to stay in the Premier League. Who would you like to be donning a City shirt next season?

    My choices :-
Blackburn - Junior Hoilett(Winger). I think he is the standout Blackburn player at this moment. Would be a good investment at only 21.
Yakubu(Striker). His wages might be the big stumbling block, but he has a terrific goalscoring record. A proven 1 in 2 striker (even in Blackburns struggling side), and seasoned international, at 29 might still have something to offer.
Bolton (thought maybe Chris Eagles but don't think he is significantly better than what we already have)
    QPR (nobody)
Wigan - Victor Moses(Winger). Has been their standout player. Always a dangerman, and only 21, is going to get better and better.
Wolves - Matt Jarvis(Winger). Has impressed me whenever I've seen him. Has pace and scores goals. At 25 he strikes me as a Lambert type of player.

    Over to you guys.

Defo not Hoilett after he threw his toys out of the pram when he never got a transfer last window. Not the right attitude for Lambert <ok>

Have to remember wage structures and what they would expect to be paid. Victor moses is a good shout he seemed to do well against us both times we met this season.

I can't see an awful lot more though, I think we'll look to the lower leagues again.

My choice would be Michael Kightly of Wolves, who plays on the right and came to them from the conference and has all of the Lambert qualities including pace and excellent crossing ability.

Disagree, Jarrold, every team is only as good as it's weakest link(s) and players like Moses, Kightly and Jarvis are not solely responsible for the underperformance and current plight of their respective clubs <ok>

Oh, the entire QPR squad, of course. After all, they are experienced premiership players!

Matt Jarvis is a very good player, would love to see him in a Norwich shirt. However I think a lot of these players would be out of our price range, especially when it comes to wages. Realistically I don't see any of them coming.

Hi Cromer they may not be soley responsible but being surrounded by negative vibs for at least one season does not give someone as switched on as a Jordan Rhodes and they have to be part of the failure whatever

    Forgive an interloper (in peace).....
Add Mark Davies of Bolton. He's impressed this year.

Ballotelli, I hear he's going to be available, and he'd probably pay his own wages! <laugh>

I think most of them should be grilled or fried! Poaching is much too good for them!

As an Everton fan I can concur Yakubu's actual age is 74.

To be honest none of 'em.
These are the sort of jourmeymen that PL has avoided and hopefully will continue to do so. They are all guns for hire and not that good.
