yes this is a shameless attempt at trying to get some info on your players for fantasy football but the promoted teams always have players that are cheap but rack up points so any tips?

I currently Have Lambert & Lallana in my FF team, maybe Clyne but as he's a new signing, we don't know if he'll start. Another option is Hooiveld who scored 8 goals from CB last season.

My tips to do well are: Lallana (LM), Lambert (ST), Clyne (RB), Rodriguez (ST), Schneiderlin (CM), Cork (CM) and Hooiveld (CB).

    Was told Hooiveld or fox?

Also, out of your midfielders who you feel will be making the most passes in the final 3rd and actually creating chances?

Ricky Lambert, as well as scoring goals, was 2nd for assists last year in the Championship.

Hooiveld over Fox, any day. He's starts more games and scores more. Only 4.5. Clyne will be a better Fantasy option on the right than Fox on the left as he's 0.5 cheaper and looks like he might be used to cover right-mid from pre-season.

From our midfield, Lallana is the standout option, though Shniderlin is the better passer of the ball, plays when fit, but is less attacking and will get less assists. Cork didn't miss a game last season, but again is less attacking than Lallana. Guly is also a great attacking option, but may be rotated a bit this season. None of the others are good FF choices IMO.

    :emoticon-0148-yes:

Am going to do the official one and the metro one, with the metro one defenders get points for interceptions and blocks and midfielders and attackers get points for passes in final third and shots on target.

We like to get the ball down and play, so they'll all get passes in the final third but for shots on target Lallana is your man. Our other offensive midfielders look as if they'll be rotated quite a bit this year so not really worth putting in your Fantasy team. Though Guly racked up the points for my Fantasy Championship team last year.

Go for Fox. Cheap as hell defender who takes all our corners and gets forward a lot, shed loads of assists. Also, Hooiveld, scores a lot from CB like someone else mentioned. Personally, defenders is where it's best to save money, so these two are ideal.

    Some less obvious candidates:

Jos Hooiveld - Solid defender and scores goals.
Danny Fox - Fullback with a great delivery who takes corners. Should rack up assists.
Fraiser Richardson - Fullback who likes to bomb forward and get crosses in. Should also rack up assists.
Nathaniel Clyne - New lad. Young, attacking fullback.
Morgan Schneiderlin - Cultured midfielder who rarely misplaces a pass. Time in L1 and the Championship has taught him to be quite imposing.
Jack Cork - Midfielder who likes to pass and move. Watch the olympic football.
Guly do Prado - Unpredictable playmaker who is capable of moments of magic, although he often drifts out of games. He'll get a few goals and assists.
James Ward-Prowse - May only get a few games this season, but the kid is unbelievably good. Controlling midfielder.
