He stepped up and the ball slipped out of his hands. Managed to throw the ball behind him, not unlike you used to do as a kid when you were trying to get someone to flinch. It didn't enter play though so he got he chance to redeem himself. Bless.
I thought it was a prank at the time because the ball literally stood still and dropped from his hands, or that maybe he was going to throw but changed his mind about where he wanted to throw it. It looked so purposeful!
