    Team sheet:

Mark Oxley, Danny East, Danny Wilkinson, Sonny Bradley, Dean Deagle, David Amoo (Conor Townsend 46), Gavan Holohan, Toby Ajala (Paul McElroy 83), Danny Emerton, Richard Garcia (Joe Fox 66), Mark Cullen.

No Etuhu, is there a casino between Hull and Ferriby?

The club wont get involved with him until his impending court case is out of the way otherwise it brings the clubs name into disrepute when the newspaper article etc says Hull City player and ex Manchester city ends up tagged/in jail.

BOO! Disgraceful. A proper senior management team like Duffen, Bartlett and Brown wouldn't let a silly little thing like a player being charged with a criminal offence (which could potentially lead to several years in jail) get in the way of signing him. Especially when he's so experienced, with his 30 professional games by the age of 21.

Kelvin Etuhu was on the team sheet(No.11), but then Toby Ajala came on wearing that number, so either he injured himself in the warm up, or he's been binned already.

I was after a second opinion on Mark Cullen's performance last night.

Considering he was being hailed as the next big thing not so long ago I'm a bit perplexed at the current level of his game.

From what I saw of him he was poor last night, very poor.

I went, Ajala was the player who impressed me most tbh, looked neat and tidy in midfield always seemed to find a pass and was fairly solid defensively as well. I was sitting next to Nick Wood from the mail and I had to inform him that it was Ajala playing in midfield as they were shouting 'Toby' alot when he was in posession as he'd just assumed from teamsheet it was Etuhu. Emerton was nippier than I had realised and took his goal well. Cullen was marshalled by Naylor and the other cb pretty well, he had a headed chance that went over and did well to get off a shot off when under pressure but keeper had it covered, he also got a decent cross in at one point, but noone took advantage, overall I would say he had about a 6/10 performance. Oxley made a couple of decent saves. Amoo looked lightening quick, skinned their fullback a few times and got to balls that alot of our players would have been beaten to. I thought Garcia looked pretty off the pace which is fair enough after been out. For Sanchez Watts goal the defence backed off too much, danny east going forward looked gd. To be fair we had more kids in our side and they had alot more with 1st team experience.

Erm....If they were shouting 'Toby' then they must of known it was Ajala, as Etuhu's first name is Kelvin.

Yeah but he hadnt noticed them saying it as he was typing on his laptop or generally hadnt heard it. I mentioned to my dad who I was there with thats not Etuthu is it they're shouting 'Toby' even though hes number 11. and then Nick Wood was like 'Sorry what did you say, have they got numbers mixed up or something' He went to the bench at half time to even check!

It was a semi decent game in the first half, but the amount of time we gave the ball away in the last third of the field was unbelievable.

The gulf in experience as the game went on was evident, but for most of the game we were in with a shout.

Concur about the Danny Emmerton comment he certainly has some pace & never backs out of a challenge.

As for 11 I thought originally it was Etuhu!! Dont agree with poster that said he had a decent game. Thought Ajala was a bit off the pace for most of the game. He will come good though you can see the talent is there, just needs to be nurtured.

Back home from travels now cant wait for weekend, lets give Forest the test they deserve. for me Forest 1-2 Hull City

If you read the report in the HDM its more about the Leeds players than City's young ones. I think it must be soul destroying for the players we have who have been with City a while seeing all these other young players brought in from other clubs. OK I certainly am no football expert but with regular games and encouragement and guidance some of ours might just be able to do the same job as Amoo and Ajala. Maybe city staff should ask themselves what they are doing wrong because the 5 players (I think) signed from the really good youth team the previous year have not been given much of a chance. Anyway looking forward to the match next week with Ferriby in the E Riding cup.
