Anyone see the programme on BBC last night? - if not there's a pretty good summary on the TWS BBC sport page. Reckon we are really lucky to have the Allams as owners!!

To someone who doesn't know much about it, it seems like Bates owned the club since he arrived at the club. Including going in and out of administration, which doesn't really seem fair to people who did it correctly. That would basically mean all the debt was wiped with little penalty other than the points that got took off them. Obviously the reality was no doubt completely different to that.

This is unbelievable; just read the BBC precis of the programme and will watch the iplayer tonight. Bates is certainly a weird sort of person. He fell on his feet when Abramavitch bought Chelsea, without that the club was heading for trouble. The Leeds story of his involvement is yet to come out.

The problem the supporters have is that no-one who might be tempted to buy TWS will go anywhere near the place while he is there. Would you like to deal with him?

yes it does. we are very lucky to have the allams as owners. its 10 years to the day that grimsby town Won 2-1 @ liverpool in the carling cup. fenty has been a very if-fy owner at least and look where grimsby are now. no money or real investment in the past decade and there best players sold. makes you think just how lucky we are.
