    I honestly believe that everybody at the club, even the new signings is up for sale, at the right price (Ashley's price)
    the fact that the players keep getting long contracts means nothing at all
    more of a bigger bargaining power for Ashley to command a higher transfer fee

    Am I one of the few un-pessimistic Newcastle supporters? I think Ashley has now seen we are a profitable club and wants to keep us that way by holding onto our best players, and making good moves in the transfer market that are not going to plunge the club back into the dark days of Shepherd.
