Many of you are by this point so traumatised by the Fabregas Saga that you may have missed the opportunity to fruitlessly suggest replacements for him.

If you have not then let me make it very clear:

    Melo

In one sense you are correct but in another I uphold my right to demand Wenger signs who i think rather than anyone who might make sense.

But if not Melo then who?

if cesc is sold for 40mil then either:
gourcuff, get him for 15-18mil. or
Schweinsteiger, get him for 30mil. or
    mata, 20mil
any one of those will leave change for a LB and/or CF

    He's our best player.

Fabregas is worth alot more to our team than Nasri. Sure we all know he would like to play for his childhood club but he's under contract at Arsenal.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is the most creative player in Europe, according to Opta stats.

The Spaniard, who has been the midfield orchestrator for the Gunners for several seasons, produces a chance from open play every 29 minutes – better than any other player in England, Spain, Germany, Italy or France.

This article was a metaphorical dip of the toe into the water of not 606 - to see if any of the old 606 crowd were here

Cue the Monty Python "What has the Spaniard ever done for us" parody.
