I know fans have been united in one voice asking AW to sign a world class striker. Looking at Chelsea's line up at Old Trafford this evening, Barcelona's line up yesterday against Malaga or even the Spain's world cup winning team, do we really need a striker? I am beginning to wonder if the idea of a striker is vastly overrated.
No doubt there are lots of different ways a team can go with formations, types of player and styles of play. That's what makes the game so interesting. There is no "Right way" to play.
O-O at OT, both teams lacked a clinical striker so I say we should definitely try and find one who can make the difference for us.
