I'm not a Chelsea fan, but I was wondering who actually misses the special one. I think the Premier League was much better with him in it! Loved his sense of humour and shushing the Liverpool fans was awesome!!! I'm a Newcastle fan and hate Liverpool! He is having a bit of a time of it at Barca though... http://www.thedailytackle.com/2011/08/mourinho-thanks-not-necessary-from.html
I miss him as a person and I miss the trophies and I miss that he really had the better of Fergie!!. I dont miss the awful football we played at times under him or the countless controversial things that followed him around (cough cough A.Cole saga etc). Love the guy but he ends up being bigger than the club itself in many ways...even at a club like Madrid.
We all miss him greatly but personally thought at times he brought Chelsea into disrepute with his antics. I'm not surprised that Jose is in trouble in Spain, a precocious talent will always attract attention. P.S. Have him back tomorrow
Agree with Ginge I just loved the siege mentality he had, the whole world was against us and he united every Chelsea fan because of it. For the longest while winning the league was just a pipe dream, but it was he that brought the winning mentality to our club and he who began the journey we are all experiencing today. City have proved that money alone doesn't just bring success, and that is why Leicester won't get promoted this season.
District Line, Mourinho is clearly talented and I agree with you about bringing a winning mentality to Chelsea, but he did join a side that had just finished 2nd in the Premiership and were not, thanks to Abramovich, bothered about balancing the books, which gave them a huge advantage. Man City have come from a lot further back than Chelsea and by doing the same are now there or thereabouts with Chelsea.
