Totally disgusted. I received an email the other day which simply said the following. If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you read this in English, thank a soldier. Wear your poppy with pride.
It's an absolutely disgraceful decision. I totally agree with JWM, the FA should grow a pair! If there really is no way around it, do you think the players could get away with wearing the poppy appeal wrist bands that the British Legion have? Not the same thing as a poppy, but better than nothing.
I say **** em, put the poppies on the shirt anyway. What are they going to do? The worst they could do would be to ban England from international tournements. It would be worth that to show Fifa up for what they are.
Same way you can vote your MEP out as well! I think you'll find though that there's also corruption in the civil service and you can't vote them out every 5 years, not enough oversight and control no matter what colour government is in
