For me, Elfsborg, not surprisingly having lived in Borås, the town they play in. Over here, Brighton, something to do with their hatred of palice. It is always a fantastic day out down there. I have always liked Wednesday since the 80's when there were a mountain of exchanges of players. Some of my best mates are Wednesday fans and are at the game tonight, I rushed to my local to find they do not have ESPN2 showing the game Hillsborough is one of the best grounds in the country along with the old Goodison Park and Highbury.
I like any team considered an underdog against the “Big” sides . Brighton are ok - I can understand that but not so sure about Wednesday? Although don’t dislike them
Arsenal Local (until 1913) but never rivals, except in the few seasons just before WW2 when Charlton were as big and arguably as good as them in the old 1st Division. 17th October 1936 - first ever league game against Arsenal at the Valley; Official attendance 68,160 Estimated real attendance 80,000+ When we went to Highbury for the return game in midweek they had to lock the gates before kick-off. The ground was filled to capacity. Over 68,000 If only our Club had been stewarded with more vision in the mid-1950's we might still have been as big as the Gunners are today. A good mate from a company I used to work for was (and still is) an avid Gooner. He went to games throughout to George Graham era. Now I'm surrounded by QPR and Chelsea fans
