Reading another thread, made me wonder who people would pick for their favourite ever player as plenty of different generations have seen different players. Can only pick one, not as easy as it sounds.
Tony Yeboah. That is all. And its because I've seen him play. Others I havent so I dont think I can state them.
Its not bloody easy at all! Where do you start? Right now I will say Yeboah but in 5 minutes I will kick myself for not picking Macca or Strachan See! cant pick already
When I was a kid I loved Tony Currie. Of players I've actually seen regularly, Tony Yeboah always used to make my hair stand on end whenever I saw him get the ball. But all-time favourite for sheer legend status is Eddie Gray, that goal against Burnley sealed it for me, amazing skill (and I saw him play as well when he was player-manager in old Div 2, obviously past his best by then)
Only one Spanish, make your choice! Bucks, sort of is but I wouldn`t put my life on it being him if you know what I mean!
Kellys a great choice Had his name & number on the back of my Asics 'thistle hotels' top when i was a nipper
ill be honest - my uncle terry cooper! he was sublime for us. And how were missing a wing back right now
