Good win on saturday and cross it may have been but it was a good goal and we desearved a bit of luck Who would you guys have as captain though? With Hobbs stripped of the armband everytime Dawson comes on, and i'm never keen on Dawson as captain he is not vocal enough, I think it needs to be with one person all the time and i think Mckenna playing is almost a certain so he should have it, for me he was basically doing what a captain should do on sat anyway. Rosie has everything a captain needs,he's vocal,calm,intelligent,commands respect with his play,he's a leader for sure. But iv'e voted Mckenna, just because i don't think a right back is in the right place on the field to captain. Mckenna is senior in the middle and has done it all before. Having said that,NP picks Daws for captain whenever he plays. Maybe for his seniority(age and time at the club),but then a very young Jack Hobbs gets the job if Dawson is out. I dont think NP really cares who gets the job.In Italy,the oldest player is captain.
I think McKenna would be the ideal candidate, except for that he seems to be a bit of a moaner, he gets right into the face of refs and waves his arms about all theatrically. I don't want the other players in our team to become whiners or we'll end up like TWS. I guess I'd go for Rosenior beyond that.
Rosenior for me aswell, as firstly Mckenna is not guranteed to start every week as the season goes on. Rosenior. Rosenior is a quality player, he is vocal, he speaks a lot of sense when you listen to him and he really does care about this club, not saying that Dawson doesn't. But Rosenior is part of the club now and i think he deserves his chance at it.
keep it as it is for now. Rosey does not want it by all acounts. anyone can toss a coin and anyone can be a leader. you dont need an armband to lead.
