We have 1 point from 3 games with a -8 GD. And we were lucky to get past udinese, a small club from italy with a smaller wage bill than most championship sides.

You have 0 points from 2 games with a -7 GD.

So, who is worse. Us or you? We could be battling for 15th this year. I am almost at the point that I want spurs to win so that London (proper london not west london) can get so momentuem

It's been a poor start and both sides are showing what happens if you don't buy quality in the transfer window but the over-hype is unbelievable.

I expect both teams to be in the top 6 and one of us taking 4th.

    I f**king hate Mancs.

Close call on the evidence so far. However, I would rather be in our position, than yours, at the moment. Your defence is woeful.

<laugh> You still think after the recent performances one of you will get 4th? And they used to call us deluded <laugh>

I suppose we should have known their would be some scouse fan on here crowing away after 2-3 games. Come back when you've actually achieved something.
In the meantime, perhaps you can find some Notts Forest fans to talk about the old days with <laugh>

    LittleDino.....

So the (fit) defensive midfielders you would have picked were.....

It's easy to say this is wrong that is wrong (nobody is claiming things went well!) but it has to be tempered by how things could have been different. Such as which available players would have been better.

As far as I know, we aren't making any huge unfounded claims as a group at the moment. I'll tell you if we agree on making any wacky claims at the weekly world-wide Liverpool supporters meeting.

Early days mate, you have had 2 homes games against mid table opposition while we have played the 2 best teams in the country.

Man City starting 11 cost £195million, on average £17.7 million per player, Spurs have never spent that on any player EVER.

    How's your £35million striker doing?

I guarantee neither Spurs nor Arsenal will be in the top 6 this season (let alone top 4) WITHOUT making some decent signings in the next 3 days, which doesn't look likely (unless Scott Parker will be your saviour?) the countdown is on...

As a neutral I feel Spurs are in a better position, yes they have played 2 and lost 2, but they've played the likely top 2 teams this season, and whilst they deserved to lose both games, I dont feel they were played off the park in the way Arsenal were today. Spurs played pretty well against United for 70 mins. And it was only after they conceded that they opened up and were picked off. Today against City i feel it was a case of City being far more clinical, whilst City were the better side, I don't feel there was a massive gulf in class in the general play. Arsenal today where ripped apart, it was an embarrassment, for any Arsenal fan. Before the game I was looking at the team sheet and thinking to myself, who the hell is he? I've never seen as bad an Arsenal side as the one that was fielded today. The bench was laughable, the only one id heard of was Chamakh, and he's ****.

I feel at present Spurs have a better side man for man when both teams are at full strengh aswell, so I expect Spurs to finally finish above Arsenal, and it wouldn't suprise me if Spurs went close for 4th spot, though I stil feel Liverpool will get that:biggrin:

How are we always like this? Our top 4 record is incredible. Oh by 'always' I take it you mean the last two seasons? Which was a transition period for our club the likes of which you are likely about to experience soon. As for 'running into our corner' may I direct you to Arsenal's bottled title charges, last year's especially which collapsed around May time? Not one Liverpool fan thinks we're suddenly great, just that we now have enough quality to be the fourth best team in the country, hardly greatness is it? For arrogance please turn your attention to your own fans in particular who think after losing their main players and their manager losing the plot all together you will still suddenly get top 4, even though you scraped it last season with a much stronger squad than the one you have now.

After the master lessons of the last week I would agree with many that we have no chance of top 4.
Arry blaming everyone but himself and Levy doing his ***in act during every transfer window.
Its sad but true, Liverpool deserve it , they shown real intent. Levy limp penis way of running the
club is showing the results we deserve.
I wish I could be deluded but we have reaped what we have sowed.
