I don't know the answer, I wondered if it could have been Terry Neill, but at 28 it can't be.

Here's another question I do know the answer to. Who was the shortest (time not height) serving league manager?

I've no idea about the first question, but the second is Leroy Rosenior, who managed Torquay for a grand total of ten minutes.

I think at the time Terry Neill was but not sure if it's been beaten since.

    Steve Claridge for shortest (time)?

    Strachan for shortest (height)?

In addition to Neil, Graham Taylor was also 28 when he took over at Lincoln City, but beating them is Chris Brass, who was 27 when he took over at York.

There probably has been someone younger though.

'tis true. I wonder if they let him keep his coat?

Here's another one, In the League Cup competition, which player has scored the most goals in a single match?

Most goals scored in a match (individual): 6 goals, by Frankie Bunn for Oldham Athletic vs Scarborough, 25 October 1989.

Good shout with Claridge. Was it Millwall who sacked him?

Chris Casper for the youngest? (off to find out how old he was now)

EDIT: Nah bollocks to that, he was about 30 when he got his first manager's job, it was when he retired as a player he was 26/27.
