He's not actually proved anything yet RR, when we lose a couple will be a test of his coaching ability...although I bet my house, you will blame the players at his disposal, oh and the budget he's had to work with!!

Goals win games if we score more than the opposition we win and three points go on the board.

At present we are scoring more than all the other teams in the football league.

More exciting and great to watch if you there to see it of course :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl

Actually, nobody has been proved ‘wrong’. It’s not possible to prove facts wrong.
Some of us have pointed out that NP has not set the world alight in his first complete season since taking over. That’s true.
Some of us pointed out that LJ managed to achieve a top half finish with his ‘crap’ players whereas NP couldn’t. That’s also true - just look at the league tables.
Nobody has claimed that NP hasn’t been hindered by lack of funds - so nobody proved wrong there either.
Some of us - myself in particular - point out our dangerous habit of conceding late goals. That’s true too.
Everyone is acknowledging that we seem to be turning a corner and performances are getting better and better - as are results.
I can’t honestly think of anyone being proven ‘wrong’.
Who are these Nigel ‘haters’ that you keep having a pop at RR?

    R&W

    They are not Nige haters.
    They defend the LJ/MA regime.

    Opinions - nothing wrong there.

Perhaps I should have asked who the doubters were, rather than 'haters'.

The 'defenders' of the LJ/MA regime point to the league positions achieved.
The 'attackers' of that setup point to the money spent.
Both are correct - we DID stay in the second tier under that regime for longer than a lot of city fans can remember.
The money statement is also true - a lot of money was spent during that time.

Regarding Nigel - I refer to my earlier post - all people were (I was) doing was pointing out that for a while it didn't look like we were improving at all.
I'm delighted to say that over the last few games it looks like we are definitely improving - we are now a delight to watch going forward. That doesn't make my earlier statement wrong.
I really hope this exciting trend continues - we stay injury free - and we tighten up at the back of course!!!!!!
