Maybe my perception of him has been tainted by some of his more full-blooded tackles, but he just seems like a bit of a clogger, to me.

I'd have to agree that Barton is fairly smart, at least for a footballer. He's also a good player. The only problem with him is that he's a complete tw*t.

Not a footballer, but Hugh Robertson is proving to be remarkably thick.

Firstly trying to get us to drop the judicial review by saying that if we do, London will be guaranteed to host the 2017 Athletics World Championships (even with the best reason not to, namely the inevitible shambles the Olympics are guaranteed to be next summer), and now he's telling the FA to reform by next February or they'll face government intervention - at which point FIFA will kick England out of the Euros...due to government intervention within their football association, which is against FIFA rules.

Incompetence and bullying - the Tory cocktail...
