Tough one. Schteve has a league title and a cup to his name, Pardew provided Newcastle's best finish since Sir Bobby, Bruce has got a couple of teams promoted and Carver is God in his own head... On paper the Wally takes it, but because of the numerous occasions of utter incompetence, I have to give it to Pardew. The good thing about hiring Steve Bruce is he invariably organises teams and gives them a lift, before it goes pair shaped when he spends money. He can't spend anything here, so problem solved.
I'd actually go for Bruce. He gets his teams up and has shown he can keep them there. He's not got a dreadful record. Pardew has a short burst of rapid success but just can't maintain it, I would say overall he was alright for us, I wasn't too happy to see him go. His time at Palace and Brom were disasters, I am convinced that he would have relegated Palace. Steve McClaren is a ****ing mystery box, I thought he was tactically inept with us, absolutely useless. But then he has had some successes, with Schteve though when it goes wrong it's a ****ing titanic hitting iceberg scenario. The ships going down and there ain't **** you can do to stop it. Carver I am sure would be one of the best managers ever, up there with Fergie. But he hasn't had the time with clubs.
For us it was without doubt Pardew. There was a time when he had us playing great football and winning, people have very slanted memories in his regard. Can't stand the smug twat though and glad he went.
Steve Bruce confronted by angry Sheffield Wednesday supporter over Newcastle links https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ield-Wednesday-supporter-Newcastle-links.html Bruce will be pleased he's wanted
I’ll go Pardew but there is not much between him and Bruce. Both bounced around largely lower table sides so they’ve had a tough gig. But they’ve never shown themselves to be what I’d term progressive. So they haven’t really deserved bigger opportunities. McClaren isn’t a manager to me. He’s a great coach by all accounts
