As there seems to be much support for the boardroom/management policy of cashing in on our players, who will be next for the big send off then? Cattermole to Liverpool for 10 Bob a couple of other Anfield flops Gyan to Bayern Munich? (bet he is really pleased now to see the lack of ambition at the club he signed for) Gordon to anyone coughing up some decent money and a bag of track suits? May as well cash in on Colback and Meyler too for some bus ticket money. In fact, if we sold all of them, or swapped them for tennis players we'd have loads of money and probably be the richest club in the championship? Great empire building in the same vein as other great British industrial giants - British Leyland and Triumph Motorbikes springs to mind? Ooops! Pathetic.
in about 4 years of reading your posts on 606 and here, i can only remember 1 optomistic post of yours, when bruce was appointed, every other one has been pessimistic. I asked what do you want in another thread, so just what is it that you want?
raises a good point are we going to show any more fight if gyan or sess are targets for big clubs, i dont agree with the every player has a price way of thinking, money isnt everything in football
Calm down man no-one even knows the in's and out's, Henderson might of had his heart set on a move what do we do tell him he cannot leave and have a player there who wanted to move on? IMO its a good deal the lad is overated, whats his best position? Most say Right Midfield, what does he offer? A canny cross, well we have no targetmen so thats helpfull. If we do bring in Brown, Gibson, O'Shea and N'Gog with the 16m IMO its a good start thats it a start, we need to bring in the two free agents in Westwood and Larsson then Brucie needs to make a statement to the fans in bringing in a big name player to keep the fans happy as we still need after that lot IMO a LB, LW and a CF
Henderson was a waste of a shirt for the majority of the season. £20m is an absolute wonder of an amount for a player that cant tackle or hit the ball past the first man in a dead ball situation, plus N'Gog, who may not be the best, but is a damn sight better than Henderson, and only 21.
My biggest concern is Gyan. I hope he's not 'assessing his options', i say euphamistically. I'd be devastated if we'd lose him, too.
Totsal pigs arse son, like most of your replies Bizzare - if I'm keeping you up, why not **** off to bed with a warm horlicks and a Readers Digest?
