<peacedove>Top four finish is the cream of the premiership-bread and butter.
Manchester united are surging forward, Chelsea are looking over their shoulders

    Current League Positions:

    LIVERPOOL 57 Points
    MANCHESTER CITY 53 Points
    TOTTENHAM 48 Points
    CHELSEA 47 Points.
    ARSENAL 41 Points
    MANCHESTER UNITED Points 41 Points

    Perm any two from six.
Everyone of the above teams want to make top four. Certainly not possible !.

I'm expecting the current top 4 to be the final top 4. Though not necessarily in that order.

I'm going to go for the mega rich clubs to be in top 4.

    spurs to **** themselves.

    cheslea to be 4th.

    utd 3rd.

I might be wrong and spurs might screw cheslea.

Mark my words Utd will be in top 4

Big ask but I think Man Utd might sneak in.

Honeymoon period, yes. But they're beating the poor sides, if they continue to do that (and they should with the players they have) then it could be enough.

I think it is a long shot for the mancs. They will miss out on top 4. They will overtake Arsenal but Chelsea will prove difficult. Spurs will wobble but will have enough to stay in top4.

they've already all but passed arsenal. they will complete that take this weekend.

imo Chelsea have had a nice easy ride which is coming to end.

there's only 6 points in it now... and next 4 games they will be caught.

with 10 games to go mancs will be in top 4.

It's more to do with those above them. Chavs have only lost 3 so far, so for them to lose another 3 (or equivalent draws) more than Utd do doesn't seem likely to me.
Spuds have lost 6, but no draws - I think they'll have enough.
Arsenal are there for the taking.

For the mancs to make top 4 will be a massive turnaround. Spurs or Chelsea will need a major collapse for that to happen. A few weeks ago I gave them absolutely no chance whatsoever.

They didn't have a chance whilst Mourinho was there - it was obvious that they weren't playing for him. So far things are going well, but I've said a couple of times already that the big test will come when Ollie ruffles someone's feathers.
However, this question is about those above them and whether or not they can be caught. Obviously many things are possible at this stage, but I don't see either Chelsea or Spurs collapsing to quite that extent.

It's only six points, that's two losses or three draws. That isn't much with sixteen games left. No chance Man Utd are having a 100% run-up though

It looks like it all depends on Spurs maintaining their form without Son and Kane. A series of draws in their absence, they are in trouble. Depends also on whether the mancs maintain their momentum under Solskjaer. They've done much better than anyone could have predicted. If we miss the title and they come 3rd or even 4th, we'll be seriously ****ed off considering the relative season the two teams have had so far.

Most predicted they'd win the first five. The game against Spurs is the only one that wasn't predictable.

Not with Mourinho. Many points were dropped in so called easy matches. Southampton and Wolves dominated them. So it was not a given that Solskjaer was going to change things round to this extent. I expected 3 wins and a couple of draws.

Meh, stop worrying about them. If we lose the lead we have over them we'll only have ourselves to blame - and we'll have more serious issues to worry about.
Way too much Utd obsession on this board.
