Anyone who watched the game last night and didn't understand what Cattermole gives us knows little about football! He should be kept IMO. If Bridcutt is as good then we should still keep him as it would make him a better player having others to play in his position
100% keep. Not a doubt in my mind. We don't even know if this lad Bridcutt can step up yet? There are a few ahead of Lee in the let go list imo.
I'd be looking to get someone in on lower wages with a little more footballing ability this summer or the next but for now he can help us stay up.
on £35k pw he is an expensive risk, ya'll know i love catts me, i'll be gutted to see him go now as he wears his heart on his sleeve for our club, colback and larrson showed me last night that catts is a class above them and i think that was there chance to shine, they didnt imo.
Why move one of our better midfielders out when there's the likes of Larsson and Gards who bring less. No way should we sell him this window. If we do there had better be another face coming in. Clearly there's no takers for Seb and Gards.
Keep. Why anybody would want to reduce our squad at this time I do not understand. Even if hes on the bench it is an option. Certain games we will need him. Other type of games he will sit on the bench. We need to keep all options open. He motivates and pushes others. Just what we need.
Keep him for now as we only have Colback who is proven in the defensive central midfield role..However, in my opinion Catts passing ability is just not up to the standard that we require if we are going to move forward..
He's only had 3 bookings in the league this season. Credit where it's due I say. Seems his efforts to rectify his discipline have fallen on deaf ears to some.

Maybe but it's still a harsh criticism when he's massively improved. No arguments about his passing though. He will need to be replaced at some point. Bridcutt in-Cats out is completely unacceptable imo. Bridcutt and Banega in-Catts out. i'd be happy with that.
but half have been Red! Last year was better though as it was his only season ever without a red but he only played 10
Colback is no better than Leadbetter, Catts is better than both, however, £5 Million and £35k a week, we have to get better quality for that spend. Marcus is right, he is better than the others but we will forever be bottom 6 with guys like him on that dosh.
