Hi all, just found this on SSN, looks fairly interesting http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-league-wins-over-saturdays-opponents-everton
For people with link issues... Hull City most wins - Barnsley - 38 Hull City most losses - Barnsley - 39
Those stats don't make sense. It adds up to an odd number of games. The only way that could work was is there was a season where we only played them once, e.g. the 1939-40 season that was abandoned after 3 games. But they were in Div 2 and we were in Div 3N that year. It's W/38, D/21, L/39 according to the TigerBase archive. We have played Barnsley more than any other team in the League, 98 games. Blackpool is next at 96.
The head to head for us against you is Won - 27, Drawn - 21, Lost - 22 (in the league). Thinking about the league cup game next week, one of my favourite nights at Bootferry was a 3-2 league cup win after we had drawn 3-3 at Filbert Street. Roger Devries scored his only ever goal for us in 360 appearences. Roy Greenwood had probably his best game for us and made fun of the Leicester full back (was it Whitworth?) all night.
arsenal's record league win (12-0) and record league defeat (0-8) were both against loughborough town.
Our record at home vs Birmingham City is W14 D9 L6 Gls For: 47 Ag: 25 Last home game: Won 5-2 (2012/13)
