Wolves are about gone, but of the other teams who may go down I'd love to see Villa go as they are the most boring team I have seen this season, and a few seasons before. Unfortunately they wll probably survive with a few more bore draws. I'd also have Bolton take the last drop place as both Wigan and Blackburn have played some good football this season, Bolton v Villa has got to be the seasons 2 most uninteresting games! So Wolves, Villa and Bolton is my wish list.
The only realistic option I care about is us staying up. I find it hard to distinguish between the 3 other clubs in the mix with us as to me they all appear to be from the same mold: poorly supported but over-achieving North West clubs living in the Shadow of the big Manc giants. Of these Blackburn appear to be the least well equipped to deal with another season in the PL.
I would love Aston Villa and West Brom to sink and to top it all Birmingham lose the play off final. This is a mathematically impossible scenario by 1 point as Villa have to play WBA and WBA escape by one point but we all can hope that something happens off the pitch at the Midlands derby and both teams are deducted 10 points Austin Allegro Morris Ital Austin Princess Rover 200 800 Triumph Acclaim Triumph TR7
I would actually be delighted if it stays like this, apart from the obvious, I really like Wigan and not a fan of either BB or Bolton
Wolves are gone no doubt. Watching MOTD last night it's hard not to feel desperately sorry for Terry Connor though. He really has been thrown in at the deep end. Awful, awful decision getting rid of MM without a cast iron certainty lined up to replace him. Long term though they'll be fine, their finances are good and of all the local clubs round here they have the biggest fan base. I'd love to see Villa go too, not least for their gosh awful manager. Probably Blackburn as well. I think Keane has done well in keeping his belief and dignity but he does look slightly out of his depth and the mad chicken farmers need to learn some lessons. Wigan I'd like to see stay purely because I like Whelan and Martinez. Bolton don't really care about one way or the other tbf.
Sorry to be a 'goody two shoes' but I would not wish relegation on anyone (except Millwall!). Given that Wolves are gone, it's Bolton for me (beating us 4 nil on 1st day and Jamie's leg!) and Blackburn for having possibly the stupidest owners in the history of football. Feel sad for the long suffering fans of any side that goes down - especially if it does turn out to be us, God forbid :-(
Connor reminds me of us under Paul Hart, hes been put in an impossible position. I want to see Wigan and blackburn go purely on their terrible support. Wigan couldnt even sell out v Man U.
I'd genuinely be wary of leaving Terry Connor in a room by himself with a chair and a rope judging by his interviews. I feel for the guy as he seems like a nicer version of Custer thrown into a Little Bighorn full of booing job-dodgers with ridiculous accents.
Wigan!!!!! Rugby League town who can't even come close to selling out at home and have a smaller away following than Foolham
As long as it's not us, I couldn't give a monkeys about anyone else. My fantasy relegation teams would be Chelsea, Man Utd and Villa.
Wolves are already gone. Blackburn don't have the strength, the talent, the owners, or the luck to survive. The other spot is between Wigan and Bolton, and it'll come down to who ships the least amount of goals. I have a feeling that if Bolton beat Swansea in their next game, it'll come down to how well al-Habsi plays between now and the final day.
Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Birmingham lose the play off final. Sadly i think this is now mathematically impossible only because West Brom and Aston Villa have to play and one of them may escape over Blackburn but i will check this out Why? .... You're a tough man to please so I appreciate it. Were you able to cheer Buzsaky's goal despite him being the bastard child of Nigel Quashie and Fitz Hall?
Bang on ... I have met many many people from that area while match fishing: One bloke came behind me on the River Severn and proceeded to tell me i was doing this wrong that wrong and how he caught this and that and how he was in fact considerably more knowledgeable than me ... I had to tell him that if he didn't shut up and **** off I would have to whack him... his response was and i quote: Alright Coppa Chumpie you London lot with your Merceddeeeddes think you know it all but yao don't ... You have ruined yao mother motor industry buying those German crap cars ... you aren't fit to be English. My tip then went round and I landed a nice chub ... " Tiddler" was the shout behind me I said have a look at this fish mate he has funny teeth ... when he came close enough I hit that prat hard in the side of the head and he ran off swearing. The pratt then brought back a copper who was exactly like this bloke and I got a lucky caution as a few other anglers complained about him also ... Since then I have wished I hit him twice.
