Realistic suggestions please, I doubt Messrs Messi and Ronaldo would want to come to W12! Our owner appears to have shied away from chucking money at us and instead wants us to develop from within and nourish new talent. Bottom line is we need to do this on the cheap so where is the next bargain going to come from? Any of you have an eye on lower league talent? Who should JFH be taking a closer look at? Anyone entering their twilight years that could do a job for a season or two?
As far as CMs go, Ryan Woods from Brentford is a serious talent. I'd only sign Gabrielle Angella for the right price (He signed a 5 year contract in July 2015) Matty Taylor from Bristol Rovers - Already has 20 goals this season Nakhi Wells - If you're looking for someone who can score the goals to get you out of this division, he's your man.
If Derby implode again the likes of Hughes or Thorne from them might not be a bad move....... Agree on McCormack from Fulham but not at any price after all what was it they paid for him 12m?
I'd quite like to see us line up 4-3-3 with Polter, Washington and Mackie up front just to see Ellers' reaction on here. No idea how serious Hall's injury is but regardless we need a centre-half. Angella would fit the bill if he fits the wage structure which I imagine he does. At left-back, between Robinson, Perch,Yun and Kpekawa I think we should have enough. We'll probably let Yun go but I'd like him to have a chance in Hoilett's place. Failing that, I guess we need a left-sided left midfielder unless Gladwin can do that finally. I thought that was the role he was meant for. Polter and Washington, even if we go 4-2-3-1, is unlikely to be enough up front so another striker of some sort.
