This is on the basis he ups his game and his kicking back to when he first came into the team. He has gone backwards in the last season or two but can you blame him playing behind Colo and Saylor/Willo.
I'm plumping for Rob E. His all round game is better IMHO. Appreciate he is currently injured but he will be back next season at some point.
On the basis that Elliot and possibly Krul wont be fit for the season, Darlow will be a nailed on certainty. His position to lose once the season starts, although I still think Rafa will bring in a new keeper in any case.
There seems to be a lot more love for Darlow and Elliot. We should be able to get £8m for Krul I reckon. At squad level that will benefit Rafa's transfer budget.
Torn here. I think Krul probably is the better keeper but he hasn't developed like he could have and is simply not as good as we hoped he would be. Mediocrity after high expectations leads to many people being overly critical, he is a good keeper. He is, i think, marginally our best but... Elliott deserves it based on performances, Tottenham away/ Bournemouth away are 6 points he won us and he was very assured. Darlow is a very capable understudy and we have other keepers in reserve so Krul probably is surplus to requirements and if we can get a decent chunk for him (£4-5m) which can be invested elsewhere (especially as he is surely the only keeper on high wages) then we should. That said, I'm in the minority that picked Krul, based on having all three of them i think he shades it.
£5m sell Krul, can buy a half decent young centre back. I like the look of Mammana of River Plate, although he is being looked at by top teams. Play Elliot and Darlow. Darlow to begin because of Elliot's injury and if he doesnt perform, elliot will be ready to come back in when needed. Woodman should also get some games imo.
